These terms describe the use of Pressroom. Individual agreements take precedence where they conflict with these terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

1. The service

Pressroom prepares supported images and PDFs for printing. Features include file checks, page sizing, placement, bleed, crop marks, colour conversion and export. Available formats and technical limits are shown in the application. Automated checks do not replace professional prepress review or your printer’s specifications. Processing and acceptance by every printer cannot be guaranteed.

2. Your account

Provide accurate account details and keep your login credentials confidential. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. When acting for an organisation, you must be authorised to do so. Do not bypass access controls, introduce malicious software, interfere with the service or use another person’s account without permission.

3. Your files

You retain your rights in uploaded files. You must have the permissions needed to upload and process their contents, including artwork, fonts and personal data. You authorise us to host, copy, process and deliver those files as needed to provide the requested service. This does not transfer ownership to us. Keep your own copies of source files and important results. Do not upload unlawful content. Where we process personal data on your behalf, a suitable data processing agreement must be in place.

4. Review before printing

Choose settings that match your printer’s requirements. Before production, check dimensions, placement, bleed, page order, text, fonts, resolution and colours. Enlarging or cropping artwork can remove edge content. Font substitution, rasterisation, transparency flattening and colour conversion can alter appearance. Adding bleed cannot recover missing image content. Review the decisions requested by the application and the exported result. These responsibilities do not limit mandatory rights if the service is defective.

5. Access and paid services

Access is currently provided individually. Uploading or exporting a file does not by itself create a paid subscription. Paid services require a separate express agreement stating the price, applicable taxes, scope, billing and cancellation terms. No subscription prices or export allowances are established by these terms. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

6. Availability and restrictions

Maintenance, faults and security incidents can interrupt access. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a security risk or a material breach of these terms. Restrictions must be proportionate. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Existing contractual and statutory remedies remain unaffected.

7. Liability

Liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude or restrict liability where prohibited by law and do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

8. Changes and contact

We will inform affected users about material changes before they take effect and obtain consent where required by law or an existing agreement. Changes do not retrospectively alter completed purchases. For account questions, complaints or requests to end your access, contact us using the email address above. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
